Hours of Service rules for the USA and Canada over 36 different rules to choose from. Use of real time on the fly, between USA and Canada

Grid markers and Red color in the grid to alert driver he/she is in violation. Remark section will contain the violation that occurred and the time in violation. (Special Note: You can only be in violation of any HOS rules if you are driving.)

Drivers Daily Log does Split Sleeper Rules for USA and Canada, Solo and Teams. No more scratching you head wondering if you can start driving and how much time you can drive. DDL will show you, with the use of grid markers when you can drive again. With the use of the Drivers Information Icon (Top Menu) you will get a quick summary of what you have done and can do that shift.

Team Violations, Teams can see their Co-Drivers information right on their log, and see violations that occurred.

Logs Turned In records. (track when you submitted your logs to your Motor Carrier. FMCSA requires this within 13 days in USA and 14 days for Canada)

Days Out records. (great for completing IRS forms)

Trips records. (Orgin and Destination)

Trips Miles records. (Loaded, Empty, Deadhead, Bobtail, Personal, or whatever the use wants)

Manifest records. (record as many manifest as needed, track hazmat loads, UN/NA numbers,  shippers, weights, commodity/product, pallets, pallets weight, seals, piece count, temperature, type load: Floor, Slip Sheet)

Odometer records. (loaded/empty/deadhead/bobtail/personal/fuel/state miles, expense, revenue) Drivers can use this in many ways. Track Routed Miles vs Paid Miles

Expense records. (track and record a scan image of the receipt right into DDL or where ever you like). No more paper receipts needed. (IRS approved receipts)

Fixed Expense records. (track fixed or reoccurring expense from your settlements more easy) you decide the time frame, from 1 day to weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, you choose the dates) (Can be exported in qif format to Quicken) User can create the own expense records, or use DDL list, user can edit and change as needed

Revenue records. (track your revenue per trip. user sets up accounts, or use DDL list, user can edit and change as needed) Data can be exported in qif format to Quicken    Expense/Revenue records. (Data can be exported to Quicken in qif format)

Truck/Trailer/APU/Reefer/PTO, Other unit's records. (track equipment records, for whatever the user wants, track when the unit was opened and closed, track where you picked up and dropped the equipment)

Daily Mileage records. (required by FMCSA)

Daily Vehicle Mileage records. (For teams)

CSA 2010 Records and Reports.  Track your violation and points, by entering data into the CSA2010 record as you receive an inspection from DOT. Know your status at all times.

Fuel records. (track fuel used in tractor and reefer) Great for IFTA reports. Calculate mpg (miles per gallon) and cpm (cost per mile) track fuel use by state/province. Can be used with IFTA reports, requires download of IFTA tables from IFTA web site)

Maintenance records. (track maintenance records by equipment records. set up different maintenance reminders by odometer, or hours. (must use odometer, hours records). Print Maintenance reports that meet FMCSA requirements in 396. (Warning(s) before PMs are due!)

Drivers Information Records (track information and warnings on what ever you like, Drivers License expires, Hatmat expires, Medial card expires, wife's birthday.

Drivers Daily Vehicle Inspections records. Choose from many different DDVIR (may be limited if using a Print Module). Meets and exceeds USA and Canada requirements.  

GPS add-on module, so you can enter your location quick and easy. Both USA Zip Codes and Canada Province Codes. Updated May 2008

Settlement records. Select the Trips from the list, and generate a Settlement report, that listed all Revenue, Expense, Fixed Expense, for that settlement report. Great for checking what you believe you should make , and what is paided.  Noted: You will need to enter Revenue, Expense, Fixed Expenses, Fuel records, Odometer records to generate a complete report)

State Speed Limits records. (User can create a State record, or use DDL list. user can edit any data, as needed)

Search for data in any record by using our Search record.

Over 38 Logs format to choose from. (Called Print Modules), that can be selected if you are running for one of the companies listed on our "Trucking Companies that will except DDL Logs" (currently over 450 companies will, Check with your company.) This creates a Log that they can scanned into their Logging Auditing Software, no need to re-write the log every night.

Best of all a user can use as little or as much as they like. (the more that is used, the better the reports). Start at anytime. DDL uses very little space, approx 50-85 kb per month, excluding receipts that are scanned.

Track all this with over 87 different reports, more coming on line monthly. Track by what you want, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Semi-Annual, Yearly. 

Find a Bug, We fix within a few hours in 99% of the time, and update the software, so you can download and install, most times within the same day, no more waiting for months or a year for a new version or update to come out.  This does not include something not working as you want or need. A bug is consider: Causing any crash, wrong math, not saving data, wrong data, no data. Users need to read the help and web sites and should know basic computer skills, and Windows operating systems.

You will need to do a good backups, we recommend daily, onto an external device. We do not have any information on your log's and can not recreate them.  We do not have any cookies, or spyware in our software.
