REACTIVATION INFORMATION -

Please read and follow the steps below before completing the "Activation Request Form". (Orange Button, or a delay can occur.

If you have just reformatted or used windows restore function, then your old ActivationCode will still work, as long as the InstallationID number has NOT changed. Enter your ActivationCode from your email we sent you along with your CustomerID/DDL#/DDL#/DDL # number.

If the InstallationID has changed, you will need a new ActivationCode.  First download and install the latest version of Drivers Daily Log from our web site at http://www.driversdailylog.com, then complete a 'Activation Request Form', enter your ActivationCode from your email we send you along with your CustomerID/DDL#/DDL#/DDL # number. Click 'Process Activation button'. Please make sure you add frbjorklund@driversdailylog.com in your email address book so you can receive email from us.

If your hardware has changed, or this is a different computer, or the reactivation failed then you will need to complete a "Activation Request Form" 'Select Reactivation from the list'.

Step 1. Close DDL

Step 2. Download and reinstall DDL, do not delete the old DDL.

Step 3. Write down the new InstallationID number will look like this (678234-456542-97763-54678 example only) -- Need help finding your InstallationID click here

Step 4. Complete the Activation Request Form by click on the orange button below.

We will issue a ReActivationCode. Make sure you enter the new InstallationID number shown on the DDL registration screen (It will be different from the InstallationID number when you first registered DDL) . The InstallationID number can not be changed, as it is generated by the computer.
 

We need the InstallationID of the computer you are trying to activate, in order to generate the ActivationCode.

Four ways to find your InstallationID.
1. On the Menu bar,  Click on Activate DDL (This will not be visible if the software is activated.)
2. On DDL main "Splash Screen" locate the button 'Activate/Purchase...' (located in the middle) or,
3. Click on the toolbar icon 'About DDL' and 'Activate/Purchase...' button. or,
4. Click on 'Help' on the Toolbar. (not the icon for help), then click on 'About DDL', then click on 'Activate/Purchase... button.
 

The InstallationID 'looks like' 65432-76543-87654-98765 (example only)

The InstallationID must be from the computer you are requesting an REActivationCode for. (Screen Shot)

Note: There is no limit on the number of reactivations you can receive on the same computer that is registered with us.


"NEW" ACTIVATION INFORMATION -

Please read and follow the steps below before completing the "Activation Request Form"

The InstallationID/ActivationCode method that we use 'ties' DDL to the computer hardware. (Thus each computer will have a different 'InstallationID' number or, a change in hardware will result in a new InstallationID number), But we realize that folks reformat, repair, Update, and replace hardware as a normal cycle, so registered (paid up) users are allowed two (2) additional "NEW" Activations code. (NO MORE THAN A TOTAL OF THREE (3) "NEW" ACTIVATIONS WILL BE ISSUED, INCLUDING THE FIRST ACTIVATION)  It is only a matter of completing a  "Activation Request Form (Orange button below)"  and we will issue a 'NEW" ActivationCode. There is no charge for this 'NEW" Activation. Please remember there is a limit of three (3) "New" Activations that will be given per paid license ($95.00 or $50.00).  If you received a 2nd license for $25.00 under the old plan, this was a backup and does not count as a full or lite  license.  After receiving your 3rd "NEW" ActivationCode, you will need to purchase a new copy for $50.00 US for the 'Lite' version, or $95.00 US for the 'Full' version  before a "NEW" ActivationCode will be issued.

Make sure you enter the new InstallationID number shown on the DDL registration screen (It will be different from the InstallationID number when you first registered DDL) . The InstallationID number can not be changed, as it is generated by the computer.

Note: You are allowed three 'NEW' activation per license, you have purchased. If you have used your three, you will need to re-purchase the software again. Click on the Buy DDL Online Now button above
